- Description
Domain Driven Design was born a little over 15 years ago. This domain centric approach is a toolbox made up of a set of practices, patterns and principles that allows you to deal with sometimes very complex issues. DDD continues to gain popularity, but it is not easy to make sense of things when you want to get started: books are not always easy to understand and many blog posts only talk about advanced technical stuff. Based on this observation, community initiatives have recently emerged aimed at making DDD more accessible. Among these resources is the DDD Starter Modeling Process which is the ideal guide to get started and which advocates a continuous, gradual and iterative approach. My presentation will focus on this guide and will reveal to you all the tools that can be used during its different phases but will also provide feedback on its use with customers wishing to be helped in the implementation of practices related to DDD.
