Terms & Conditions

Aardling BV and its affiliates Aardling Belgium BV and Aardling Netherlands BV (the "Organisers")

Applicability

The Organisers sometimes advertise workshops and courses that are organized by third parties. These Terms and Conditions only apply to courses or workshops organized by the Organisers.

Course Fee

The Course Fee includes attendance of the course, course materials, and access to software tools. For physical courses, lunch and light refreshments during morning and afternoon breaks are included. The course Fee does not include accommodation, meals, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by delegates. The Course Fee will be as quoted on our Site. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Prices for our Services may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order which we have confirmed with an Order Confirmation. Except as expressly stated, the price of any Services excludes VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable. However, if the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date of delivery, we will adjust the VAT You pay, unless you have already paid for the Services in full before the change in VAT takes effect. You can pay using the IBAN and BIC codes stated above. Contact the Organisers if you wish to pay through other channels.

Payment Terms

The course fee is due for payment strictly 14 days from the invoice date or prior to the event start date if that is sooner. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT or other sales taxes.

Substitutions and Cancellations by the Delegate

A qualified substitute may be enrolled in a delegate’s place provided we are notified in writing before the first day of the course. However, two or more delegates may not share a place at an event. You may cancel or reschedule attendance of any public training delivery, but the Organisers will apply the following charges:

  • More than 30 days notice prior to course start date: 10% of the Total Course Fee
  • 15 - 30 days notice prior to course start date: 50% of the Total Course Fee
  • 0 - 14 days notice prior to course start date: 100% of the Total Course Fee

Cancellations and Changes by the Organisers

The Organisers may change the location of the course, postpone the course to a later date, or cancel the course, for any reason. We will try to give our delegates as much advance notice as possible of any such change.

In such event, you will be given the choice to either receive a 100% refund of the prepaid course fee, or use the prepaid course fee as credit for booking another course. Note that some courses may not be eligible for this due to third party agreements.

However, we will not be liable for any other costs incurred including (for example) travel charges or any consequential damages, even if we were advised of them.

Alterations to the Course Programme

It may become necessary for the Organisers to make alterations to the content, instructors, timing, venue or date of the course compared to the advertised programme.

Your contact details

The Organisers will use the contact and delegate details you enter during the registration process to provide you with further details on this event. The Organisers may also include you in our mailing list, which we use to contact you from time to time with information on our other events. You will always have the option to unsubscribe from this list. The Organisers will never give your details to a third party.

Limitation of our Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability. We will not be liable to You or any other person for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with: (a) use of, or inability to use, our Site or Services; or (b) use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Site. If You are a business user, we will also not be liable for: (a) loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue; (b) business interruption; (c) loss of anticipated savings; (d) loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or (e) any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

General

These terms and conditions set out above represent a complete statement of the agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, correspondence and representations. Our brochures and advertisements are for information purposes only and are not intended to form any agreement between the Organisers and the recipient. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and changes will apply to any enrolment/event order received after the date of the change. These terms and conditions may not be varied except in a written agreement signed by an officer of the Organisers. The Organisers' acceptance of a purchase order containing different terms and conditions does not modify or supersede these terms and conditions. This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Belgian Law.
